We have two companies under one roof. We founded our wicker furniture wholesale company, Spice Islands Wicker, in 1988. This segment of the company imports wicker and rattan sunroom seating groups, bedroom groups and various contemporary and vintage wicker items.     Our latest segment is this site, Spice Islands Coastal (www.spiceislandscoastal.com). This site carries products designed for serious coastal artists and crafters. We sell a variety of wholesale seashells i.e. seashells in bulk for crafters, most of which are the right size and price for craft and artistic projects. Among these shells are Pectens shells, Turris shells, Abalone shells, Sundials, Strombus shells, cones, various cut shells and many others.   Besides seashells we carry various adornments and craft supplies which include cabochons (which we call jewels), rhinestone ribbons, pearl like beads, high quality rattan core braids, beach sand, etc.

    Spice Islands Coastal also carries various wholesale picture frames. We carry two sizes of wholesale floating platform shadow boxes, 20” x 20” and 16.5” x 16.5”.  We carry various rattan picture frames as well. These are also ideal for framing shell art. We carry one that is particularly suited for framing pictures of family vacations at the beach.

    One issue when creating shell art is the “left-over” problem. What does one do with the left-over shells? To solve this problem, Spice Islands Coastal is developing DIY shell art kits. We provide the shells in 1.1 lbs. (1/2 kg) quantities or in bulk, the design and the frame. The customer provides the labor to glue the shells to the frame.  

    Lastly, we offer finished and framed art (ready for hanging) and coastal furniture accessories. The finished art consists of pure shell art and shell art mixed with printed art. This art is totally unique.  

    Whereas all wicker and rattan furniture are preferred in coastal areas, we have selected some of our “beachier” items for our coastal site. Once again, these items are totally unique.
